We were not sure which funeral home to take our Loved one. After many experiences with funeral homes. I wanted to make sure we had a place that was compassionate, understanding, and professional. We met with Julissa at first and we did not know what to expect out of her. We were very pleasantly surprised on how blessed we were to be able to have her care for our loved one. If you are looking for a place that will treat your loved one with dignity and respect this is the place. This began to be clear to us once she started working for us. She paid so much attention to detail. We actually gave her some wrong information. Julissa doubled check everything with us to make sure it was correct. She was able to catch our mistake and get it fixed at the last minute. She was able to make a lot happen in a short period of time. She is a very hard worker and it shows through her efforts. We also had the opportunity to meet Frank, the owner. He also did everything he could to make sure we were happy. He even brought out caskets from the back so we could get an upfront look. Once again we felt so blessed to be in Angelus care. If you ever have to consider a place remember you cannot go wrong with Angelus Chapel. All you have to do is get Julissa give her the information she ask for and be open about what you want then trust her to take care of your loved one. Thanks again for Angelus Chapel.

Family is the first word that comes to mind when we think of Angelus Chapel Funeral Directors & Crematory. The care and consideration of every person for our family was incredible. Honestly, it has to be said that there was not a single detail that was missed. Julissa guided us through the process and even shared why she is passionate about helping each and every family. As we listened to her words it touched our hearts deeply to know that our loved one would not just be a body passing through but would become a part of their hearts as they pass into the process that allows the family to say goodbye. In this lifetime, rarely have I ever experienced such compassion. Any details we as a family may have overlooked, were covered by the staff, they were considerate of every aspect. They provided for us in ways that I simply do not believe anyone else would do. The kindness and hope offered at such a difficult and tragic time made a lasting and never forgotten difference in our lives. As an Army Professional and business owner and clergy in this community, not only have I referred military Families in my profession, I've referred civilian Families. I have many times, been at that table with my Family. Frank, Julissa, Thomasina, Sonia, Vero, Jerry and supporting staff, thank you. I can't express in words and I come to tears every time I reflect on this team and the difference I've seen them make with all Families. They care. They address the difficult tasks that must happen, they simplify the process, they cover all aspects of responsibility and every single Family I have attended that initial meeting with, somehow, you see relief on their faces and without any exaggeration, smiles and laughter of memories begin to bloom from the Family from the middle to the end of the session. They are well versed in accessing insurance and other benefits. Military and Veteran benefits for final arrangements is a priority for them, to the point that they are directly linked to the Casualty offices, National Cemeteries, the VA and they have sat down with military Families who soon realize after intervention with these funeral directors, they have fewer expenses and someone to access those benefits for them. From being in the presence of the coroner and contacting Angelus Chapel Funeral Directors, care begins at that hospital, home or other place where they begin caring for your loved one. You are in good hands, they genuinely care.

Very caring, professional and diverse staff. Clean from top to bottom. There are SO many ways to bury a loved one from traditional to cremation they have something for everyone. In the front is Thomasina, she's amazing and should get a raise. So thoughtful and sweet. They not only have a chapel for the service but also a room for the repass with a kitchen. The bathrooms are clean and there's always some soft music playing. The handle every type of funeral from traditional to military to foreign. They have Spanish speaking employees for your needs as well. The chapel is beautiful and seats 215 people. I can't say enough good about this place. I lost my mom on September 27 2019. I had no idea what to do as far as planning or services or anything, I barley had a clue what she (my mom wanted) but going to Angelus Fuberal Directors was the BEST idea I've ever had in my life. Franklin McCulley is the best, he is patient, kind, strong, and I can't stress enough patient. He even lowered the prices of my moms service to something affordable for me (my family wouldn't help). I seriously would not know what to do without him or his staff. They took such good care of my mom Julia McNeal. Ms Sonjia did a wonderful truly wonderful job picking out the funeral program colors, Ms Thomasina talked with me for a long-time on just the subject of how I am feeling and my mom's personality (she didn't even know my mom). Mr V did a fantastic job with my moms hair and cutting some off for my keepsake even though she was being cremated he still made sure she was presentable for us to see her one last time. Kinsley played her favorite songs and made her service a truly memorable one. Angelus Funeral Directors are amazing at what they do and they take so much pride in their work and it shows. I had no idea what to do after my mother took her last breath. I just turned 27 this year and she had just turned 55, I never imagined having to plan her funeral so soon. We went to multiple funeral homes in the springs and all that I felt Was no compassion money hungry people. That is until I called angelus and finally felt relief to hear Thomasina’s warm and inviting voice through the phone. We didn’t have an appointment but she told me to head right over so I did. From the minute we walked in I knew this was the place! The lobby was so clean and you could tell that the staff took pride In it. Thomasina came out and her energy gave me so much joy and peace which is crazy after crying for days on end!! We then sat with Liz who was so kind and discussed pricing in such a non-sales way. Which by the way their pricing is much better than anyone we went to in the springs so you should just stop searching now. I later met with Frank for the final Touches and he listened to many stories I had about mom and he never made me feel rushed! The service was beautiful, the staff gave us space but also made sure we knew that we could come to them for anything. Loosing a loved one will never be easy and nobody tells you that your going to have to put your grieving on pause while you panic about funeral arrangements and costs. I cannot stress how important it is to find a genuine staff like Frank’s during this tragic time, they have been in our shoes and they understand! Thank you so much for everything Frank and team!

It's hard losing a loved one, but especially hard when it's your mother. From the pre- arrangements, to the actual day of the funeral, the entire staff assured that “every detail” was addressed per our wishes. During what was a stressful and difficult time for our family, Angelus Chapel relieved us of those heavy burdens. Any question asked, or task requested, was met with a compassionate and immediate response. Exceptional, Heartfelt,Attentive, Patient,Accommodating, Sincere Care is the services our family received from the Angelus Chapel Funeral Directors who so graciously prepared recently both our Parents Alvin T. & Marie Robinson to rest. Our beloved father past in March and then our beloved Mother in June 2016. When the Funeral Director Franklin whom is also our family, looked me in my eyes and said, "I will take very good care of your Father and then as well for your Mother", that put a very needed ease to my heart. All of Angelus Chapel's accommodations are phenomenal. Their state of the art facility is absolutely beautiful and has a comfort of peace. Being able to have the Funeral and the repass both at the Funeral Chapel location so elegantly went very smoothly. To top it off, having a Playroom for the kids to keep them occupied was brilliant. Frank your patience and care in all aspects of this process allowed a calm to our grieving hearts and Rev. Turner, your unnerving care accommodating the every need request by the family is truly appreciated. All of the staff that were involved with our family showed sincere care for our Parents special event of celebrating their life. I had to take the time out to let people know how wonderful the service at Angelus was. My family and I lost my baby sister unexpectedly. It was a very hard time for my brother-in-law and family to deal with. Not ever dealing with planning a funeral it was overwhelming. We were given a list from the military hospital that did not have Angelus on it, but we heard about there service and decided to give them a try. OH MY LORD What an experience! They made everything so easy to do,they were there every step of the way. I've never seen a funeral home that was so organized, caring, loving,understanding and together. Every person (employees) from the front door to the rear was awesome. They did such a wonderful job on my sister and was with us from the beginning to the end. It was a hard time for my family but they made things so much easier for us. I never want anyone to have to go through that but its a part of life for us all. I want everyone to know that Angelus is a FIVE STAR MINISTRY. You guys are awesome and keep up the awesome work you do. I can't think of anything that needs to change....you guys are AWESOME! Howell I must thank Mr. Frank McCulley and the entire Angelus Chapel staff for the very beautiful, respectful and glorious services for my mother. This has been the most challenging time of my life and words are not created to tell you how this feels yet, Mr. McCulley was sympathetic, patient, professional and understanding from the 1st call at 4 a.m. on May 25th to the last handshake on June 13th. Every concern, question and challenge was met with a positive response by him and or his staff. My mother was prepared with respect and was as beautiful at this final earthly visit as she was in life. The services from the viewing to the time of the funeral was wonderful. Such care was taken of my mother as well as myself and our family as they can from all over the country, flowers, cards and calls that we could not have asked for more. We had church and not a funeral for my mother and I am very sure that for those of us who are of the "left behind group" we are sure to see momma again at the great Coronation. Superior care was taken with privacy, financial information, family dynamics and so much more that we could not have asked for more .
